In the official investigation, assumptions were made about MH370’s flight path, such as the aircraft’s cruising altitude, whether it flew a constant altitude, whether the autopilot was engaged and so on, but what if these assumptions were not correct? How incorrect assumptions may lead to different outcomes are addressed in this section, and again, the ideas presented here are purely speculative.
